Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween from our little cowboy and his little cow!
Keeler insisted on being a cowboy again this year.  Since Kal is still too young to decide I asked Keeler what he thought Kal should be...he liked the idea of him dressing as either his farm dog or his cow.  Sense a theme here folks?  He'll get you back someday big bro but I had to admit both ideas sounded pretty cute.  So when I found this little cow costume we were set.
Keeler's costume is mostly items he already had.  He has outgrown his leather chaps he's worn in the past so I picked him up some new ones at a local western store.
Keeler had to rope his brother aka cow back in.
I love my three cowboys.  Opps correction, I love my two cowboys and their little cow ;)
Daddy trying to teach Keeler to rope.  I'm more in love with this man every day.
A little #Throwback.  It's amazing how much these two have changed in just 3 short years.
We hope everyone has a fun and safe Halloween.

Weekend Whoas!

We had a great weekend full of whoas!  On Friday evening my parents, sister and her kiddos arrived at our house.  Oh, and I can't forget they brought their new little dog Biskitt too.  The kids were on cloud nine.
First everyone, Biskitt included, went for a Gator ride.
Then the kids had a pizza party in the playroom.  Granny stayed and had dinner with us.  It was nice that everyone got to catch up.
On Saturday, we took our time getting around and then started on our special Halloween lunch.
We made these cute mummy dogs, - found on Pinterest.
these little witch brooms
Jacey and Kallahan were great little helpers!
Right after lunch the kids were ready to go back outside and play with Biskitt.
Us girls managed to sneak out of the house for a while and did a little shopping.  Surprisingly my sister picked up some really cute clothes from one our downtown stores for her upcoming trip to NYC #jealousmuch
We watched the Tech game and this is pretty much how we felt about the loss.
We still love 'em though! #gunsup
On Sunday, Jacey and Samuel joined the little cowboys and me for Sunday school.  We had a full house.  Jacey was a great teacher's helper and Samuel dominated in musical chairs!
Thanks for coming to see us.  We can't wait to do it again - hopefully soon.

High Five for Friday!

Hooray it's Friday!!
1//  Pardon the wrinkled undershirt but high five for sweaters, boots and a little turquoise.

2//  High five for God giving my precious little cowboys the best father and me the best husband.  It's the little things he does like reading to the boys before bed, making them laugh in the bathtub and always putting his dishes in the dishwasher that makes him absolutely the best in my world.

3//  I survived my first week with my new "dual role" at work - high five!  In addition to my marketing director role on a corporate level for now 14 locations I've been appointed store lead of my hometown dealership.  We have a new location manager that is overseeing two locations so it'll just take some stuff off his plate.  It's really not much different than I've always done I'm just getting acknowledged for it.  I don't blog about work much but I love my job and work with some pretty amazing people - but don't tell 'em I said that :)

4//  Keeler stayed the night with his Granny last night - totally his idea just because.  He doesn't have school on Friday so we let him and he had a great time.  At home Kal didn't know quite how to be an only child but it was fun to have some one-on-one time.

5//  High five for snow!  Yes, it snowed this morning.  It's unseasonably early but that made it pretty exciting.  We need the moisture.

Hope everyone has an amazing weekend.  We plan on staying in our pajamas, sipping hot cocoa and just maybe doing some baking.  Who am I kidding?  We'll probably go to the store and buy something yummy {in our pajamas}.

Wordless Wednesday

genERICAllyspeaking  { first tag!!

So you know that soon-to-be SIL I mentioned in my recent post that needs a blog so I can tag her?  I'm happy to report that Tiffany and I convinced her this weekend that she needs to start blogging. I volunteered to get her started and I LOVE how the design came together.  Erica's blog will be a great read so please check it out and follow.  She has an exciting year ahead with wedding planning, a new home and to top it off she's got amazing style!

okay so that's a lot of words for "Wordless Wednesday" but you get the idea :)

Weekend Whoas!

This weekend we traveled to Texas for birthday parties!  We left Friday evening and arrived at my parent's house way past these two little cowboy's bedtimes.  But since they'd slept in the car on the way down we let them play for a bit before putting them straight to bed.

I ordered these darling pajamas off Zulily.  I couldn't resist getting out the good camera and snagging some cute pictures!
Kallahan is so "at home" and comfortable at both his grandparent's houses.
This makes my heart smile :)

//Instafun//
The rest of the weekend whirled by so quickly that I only managed to snap a few pics with my iPhone.  Here'e the whoas:
1//  My mom, sister and Jacey and I attended a huge craft show on Saturday morning.  We scored some cute headbands and scarfs.  I wore my new necklace from Now Yours Boutique (pictured above) that I ordered last week - yes, I also got it in the same week - and received so many compliments!  You must check this site out.
2//  We finally got to meet my parent's new puppy, Biskitt.  Keeler and Kal LOVE her.  They took her to the park with my dad a couple times and are working on training her to go down the slide. #onlypadiddy
3//  We had a BLAST at Brynlee's 2nd birthday party!  We loved seeing family and of course Ashley's cute baby bump.  The kids and dads had a great time riding bumper cars.  We just wish we could have visited longer.
4//  After Brynlee's party, Tyler and I headed to his brother's 30th birthday party!  Our little cowboys were exhausted from the big day so my parents watched them while we partied - thanks again!  Tyler and I had a great time with his family.  My, MIL, SIL and soon-to-be SIL had a great gab session.  I wish we could get together more often!  Erica - don't you wish you had that blog going so I could tag you ;)
5//  On Sunday we spent most the day with Tyler's family.  We had a nice lunch and then I rushed around and picked up a few items I needed before heading back home.  I got the final pieces for Keeler's Halloween costume.  I'm so excited because the cuteness is out of control!
6//  As always it was nice to get back home.  We spotted the rainbow above on the way home.  Such a beautiful reminder of God's promises and all our many blessings.

The "Surprise!"

We've started the little cowboys their own little cow herd.  Tyler's wanted to do so for awhile and recently an opportunity arose for Tyler to go ahead and purchase three cows - and two were expecting.  So this week Tyler was excited to tell the boys he had a "surprise" for them at the farm.  We got up Saturday and all headed out to the farm.
First we stopped off at a corn field to pick the cows some corn.
Then we headed over to the feedlot to see the "surprise."
I told Tyler this ^ needs to be his business Christmas card.  A little shameless marketing #always!
Keeler was so excited to see the baby!  It was a precious moment to watch my cowboys in their element.
"It's a girl!"  - announced the proud owner!
