Keeler entered into the last few weeks of kindergarten and had his school pictures taken. My little guy sure is growing up and he's so handsome. He's done wonderful in kindergarten and truly enjoyed going every day. This has been an answer to my prayers. We had parent/teacher conference recently and his teacher reports that he's on track for first grade.
We went through his school journal at the conference and we both giggled when we saw his "dad page." Tyler's all dressed up for farm work - suit and tie? We're proud to see that he won 2nd place on a coloring contest. He gets his artistic talent from me ;)Pages

Friday Favorites
{one} One of my most favorite {and daunting} tasks for work is to produce our company quarterly newsletter entitled "CROP." We're going on the third year of the publication and I'm always very proud of completing this project and enjoy listening to our customer's take on the articles.
Primarily, I develop the creative and interview a customer for my "On the Farm" piece. This past quarter, for an array of reasons, I had to come up with an alternative article to the customer spotlight and decided to do a fun article and called it "Farm Wife Survival Tips."
I thought is would be fun to share on the blog!
I recently binge watched Season 1 out of nightly boredom last week because I had heard great things about the show {thanks Kristin} and now I am hooked! I love everything about it... it's a reality show centered around a group of friends that mostly come from "old money" shot in Charleston. I love the accents, the architecture of the town, and the drama... oh the drama people! #hotmessexpress
Keeler's been out for spring break this week. Kallahan is LOVING having his big bro around. Their best day was on Wednesday when they got to work some of the new calves with Tyler and Troy on the farm. Tyler is such a great dad. He didn't think twice about taking them out before sunrise {lunchables in hand} and heading out for a full day's work. He has mentioned over and over how proud he was of both of them for being such great helpers. I picked up Kal in the afternoon when they were done with the cattle but Keeler stayed with Tyler, side by side, building fence until after dark... and he loved every minute of it.
{six} My Favorite little voice. I have one more work related project to share...
Check out our new spring mower Radio Ad that Keeler helped me cut!
I hope it puts a smile on your face. I smile ear to ear every time I hear it :)
{This picture is from his recent TV debut... I'm working on getting the file}

St. Patty's Day!!
Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Celebrating and decorating for St. Patrick's day is always one of my favorites. I planned to do more over the weekend with the little cowboys but since we went on our "staycation" plans changed a little.
All I had prepared for was making cupcakes so that was pretty much our festivities aside from looking cute in green and having dinner together {after eating a cupcake, of course}.
We were glad that Granny and our little friend, Nichelly, came over for the fun!

Weekend Whoas: Staycation
This past weekend started Keeler's Spring Break vacation. Due to busy schedules and life on the farm we decided it would be best to stay close to home so we ventured to the city for a little "staycation." Surprisingly, it ended up being one of our better trips.
Kallahan helped me get all packed and ready on Saturday morning. He was super excited to go swimming at the hotel and wore his floaties around all morning. I just love this kid!
Road Trip! A short one is even better :)
Our first stop was bowling.
Keeler LOVED that he beat all of us.
My little cowboy is growing up.
We checked into the hotel, checked out our room and then went straight to the pool.
We stayed at a brand new Best Western Plus and everything was super nice and top of the line.
The little cowboys were in heaven. We swam all afternoon.
For dinner, we tried a new oriental restaurant that we had heard has sushi, per Tyler's request. Yes, my cowboy is a big sushi fan (who would've guessed that?!)
Keeler wanted soup and we laughed when they brought it out - the bowl was bigger than him!
After dinner, and applying tattoos we picked up out of the restaurant vending machines, it was time for MORE SWIMMING!
Kal was pretty proud of his new look. He gladly swapped Keeler his cool skull tat for this butterfly. He's such a sweet little brother.
Then is was time to settle in for bed...
but not until we got the wiggles out :)
Sweet dreams my little cowboys.
The night was looooong. Kal ended up sleeping with us after he fell out of the bed. Then Tyler ended up with Keeler because Kal was all over the place. At this point, we were happy we decided on a one night stay.
In the morning, we enjoyed a nice breakfast followed up with one last swim.
We ended the trip with another meal out and then a little BBQ grill shopping with no luck and then headed back home.
I love my little family and treasure these moments.

Lucky Leprechaun 5K
This past weekend was our Ladies of Junior Civic Lucky Leprechaun 5K and Kid's Chase the Leprechaun event. It was a very fun and successful event. I am so fortunate to be apart of such a great group of ladies.
Enjoy the photos!
Best Looks!
Tyler's cousins and Granny were all so sweet and supportive and came out and ran.
