Five on Friday

Happy June ~ this month has started off busy so this Five on Friday will be a quick recap!
Linking up with April and Christina.

1// Tyler and I took the little cowboys last weekend to a little traveling carnival and they had a great time.
It was a great way to kick off the summer break.  They both rode about 10 rides.  They're little daredevils and are not afraid of anything - nor did anything make them sick.  They didn't get this from me!  Kal was too short for a few rides and boy did it make him mad.  It worked out nice that we ran into a few of Keeler's little buddies and he was able to ride with them.

2// Last weekend we went to dinner with my girlfriend Natalie and her little family.  They have two little girls so we jokingly said we were going on a triple date.  We just assumed that our older ones would play and the younger ones would play... but they had a different plan.
Looks like Kal is into the older ladies ;)
We had a great time!

3//  Keeler had his first tee ball game this week!  Our weather lately has been very nice, but for some reason Tuesday was terrible.  It was very windy (40 mph) and almost 100 degrees.  The kids did great regardless.  Keeler hit the ball very well both times he went to bat and then followed up with two runs.  Way to go Clemson Tigers!
Kallahan was great in the cheering section and asked for a picture.

4//  I'm getting so anxious to decorate for the 4th of July.  On Wednesday we did some painting!  I've been eyeing this flag for my mantle but I can't bring myself to pay that much for something I just want up for a short holiday.  The only wood board I had on hand wasn't as big as I wanted but overall I'm pleased with the project.  I'll post pics once I decorate.  Tyler informed me last night that it's still too early :(
We'll see what happens this weekend, ha!
Kallahan LOVED painting again.  He is neat little painter and really concentrates on the project.
Keeler was completely the opposite.  He decided that finger/feet painting was a great idea.  He was a MESS!

5// We're loving our time spent outdoors.  We've been practicing tee ball with Keeler but our lessons quickly turn into a neighborhood party.  Tuesday night somehow ended up a target lesson for the dads.  What cute targets they had, right!?
Oh the joys of boys!
Keeler's been going to Vacation Bible School this week.  We're looking forward to his program tonight and then a low key weekend.

  1. Your little family is absolutely adorable! I'm about to have my first kiddo (a boy), so seeing posts like this makes me so excited about when he gets a little older. :)

I found you through the link up! I hope you have a great weekend!
