Last night was our little town's Christmas Miracles & Magic Light Parade.
Every year we go all out on a float and it's A LOT of work, time and money. It seems that always the same few employees help with the event but this year our main guy {resident light expert, aka Clark Griswold} was going to be out prior to the parade for an extended period of time so we knew we had to keep things simple. We decided to ask a fellow dealership if we could borrow their very cool converted John Deere Model B pedal tractor.
It was a hit! We didn't want to put lights on the machine {since it was borrowed} and opted to place more lights on our peddlers. It's hard to see in pictures but they had battery operated lights wrapped around their shirts.
My coworkers {and hubby} were great sports!
Here's Clark Griswold Santa himself.
The little cowboys elves rode with Angie, Keith and me in a Gator behind the tractor. We were a safety vehicle in case our peddlers needed pulling because from what I hear, the bike is HARD to peddle :)
What a crew?!
Such a cute elf!
Needless to say, we had a blast!!
And best of all, we took home FIRST PLACE in commercial floats!!
I LOVE this picture. Three of my favorites.
It's not everyday we get to dress up as a family of elves... I kind of loved it!! Thank you Miracles and Magic Christmas Parade.
