We had such a crazy busy week it's hard to believe it is already Friday. Our favorite soccer stud had three soccer games this week.
Last night was his final game of the season and boy, his little team finished it off right with a big win! Keeler was selected as team captain and scored another goal. He had a blast playing soccer! All the players received a medal and he was so excited. He even wore it to school today ;)
Again, we had the best cheering section and at last night's game a special little cheerleader, Becca. Her momma is my favorite fellow farmwife. We've been hanging out a lot lately since our farmers are back working looooong hours. It's so nice to have a friend that understands firsthand the struggles of this busy time of year.
We celebrated after the game with our favorite sweet treat.
This week we made a special trip to the local library to sign up for the summer reading program {complete with some silliness in the play area}.
The little cowboys were so excited to get their very own library cards! We're going to try hard to make reading one of our favorite activities this summer. Wish us luck!
We've started a nightly family Bible study using the Jesus Calling Bible Storybook and it's certainly one of my favorite moments in the day. The book is beautifully illustrated and engaging. Each story is short enough to keep their attention and encourages dialog and prayer.
Today we helped with the Kindergarten Farm Day - one of my favorite school events. It was so much fun spending time with the little cuties. I snapped a few photos/videos and made a short video for the dealership's Facebook.
I need to order that story book!
