Weekend Whoas: Cousin Fun!

After our fun St. Patty's Day Party, my mom and sister decided it would be fun to spend the rest of the weekend in the city celebrating my upcoming birthday.  It didn't take long to convince me!
We started off the celebration by going to the movies.  The girls went and saw Miracles from Heaven and the boys went to see Zootopia.  Everyone loved their movie, claiming they're both #mustsees!
After a dinner out, we checked into our favorite local hotel and enjoyed a swim!
These little fish had the best time!
Some hot tubbing...
and goofing around.  Kallahan and Collin didn't ever want to get out!

It was so great to spend time with my family.  Thanks again for such a fun weekend!
Our little Kallahan wanted a crib and slept like a baby in the corner.
None of us want our littlest one to grow up!
In the morning, the boys went to help Tyler brand.  The girls headed out for some shopping!!
We had so much fun looking for Jacey's 4-H fashion show outfit.  Grandma Kak wasn't feeling well in the morning but by the afternoon she joined us for a little more shopping and a fun lunch out.
Then we headed out to the farm to deliver our cowboys some lunch.

Keeler LOVED having his cousins on the farm.  All of them seemed to have a great time.
Our fun-filled weekend really wore the little cowboys out but we loved every minute of it.

Happy St. Patty's Day!!

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!
Thankfully St. Patrick's Day fell on a Thursday this year in the middle of Spring-break so I got to host my annual cousin party.  The little cowboys spent the first part of the break in Texas having a blast with family... at football camp, riding 4-wheelers, bowling, swimming, etc...
Jacey and I love a party!  We worked on decorating, getting everything festive and creating some fun sweet treats together.
 I'd missed my girl!
We started the party off with a little silly string fight...

the little boys put on some tattoos
and then we enjoyed our traditional St. Patty's Day meal!
Menu: Steaks, green mac & cheese, green mashed potatoes, green zucchini squash
(Keeler talks about this all year)
Keeler enjoyed our New Year's activity countdown so much that I decided to create a similar activity countdown for this party.  They popped a balloon on the hour and inside the balloon was a fun group activity.
The kids played BeanBoozled, Just Dance and then we finished off the party with a cup-stacking challenge.
We're very LUCKY to be so blessed.
We hope that you had a great St. Patty's Day filled with lots of love and LUCK

Little Miss Avery Jean

Tonight I had the privilege of playing photographer with this little cutie-patootie.  I was thrilled when our cousin, Amber, asked me to take some photos of her adorable baby girl.  My little cowboys are spring breakin' it up in Texas so it was the perfect time to play around.
Yep, that is Avery Jean.
Little Miss Sunshine.  Seriously, she's the perfect baby!  At least for me she was quite the perfect little model.
Watch out supermodel divas, there is a new girl in town and she knows how to work it!
She the happiest little baby EVER and full of smiles.  I feel so blessed to have captured such a sweet, sweet stage.
Classy girls wear pearls :)
Love you sweet girl.  xoxo

Lucky Leprechaun 5K

This past weekend was our Ladies of Junior Civic Lucky Leprechaun 5K and Kid's Chase the Leprechaun event.  It was another fun and successful event.
Mimi was in town for Keeler's music program and then stayed the weekend.  It was the perfect weekend to have her around.  She helped wrangle the little cowboys while I worked on race prep and then she and Granny took the little cowboys to the race so they could enjoy all the activities.
Kallahan kept us all entertained while I loaded the car.

The little cowboys LOVED the Chase the Leprechaun Fun Run.  This is the first year that they raced so they didn't know exactly what to expect.  The day before the race Kallahan asked, "Can we keep the leprechaun if we catch her?"
How cute is that?!
And boy did they try to catch her!  Keeler was the second kid overall to complete the race.  Little Mr. Speedy!
Kallahan ran the entire race :)
 I love my little leprechauns.
Keeler was impressed that his dad's logo was displayed at the race.
Thanks again for sponsoring, babe :)

Farm Evening

Some evenings are just made for a little downtime on the farm.  After a busy week and weekend it was just what we needed.  The weather was perfection.  We loaded up the little cowboys plus a cute little neighbor and headed out to help Tyler with evening chores.
Keeler made sure that we followed the rules and stayed very quiet while we were around the cows.
photo cred. Keeler :)

This one above might go down as one of my favorite photos EVER!  I just love these three cowboys.
