Chrsitmas Program 2017

Last Wednesday, the little cowboys were in the Christmas Program at church. The entire Soul Patrol did so great and put on a wonderful Christmas Program. Both of the boys had a speaking party and did awesome. So JOYFUL!!  We don't where Kal get's his dance moves? :)

This year I love, love, love how our family pictures turned out.  I am so blessed to have such a talented friend, Candice, that has recently started a photography business.

She surpassed my expectations and then some. She really is a magician because you would never know that we were swarmed by mosquitoes. Honestly, I don't think I've ever seen so many. She was able to capture all of these somehow between us swatting and squirming.

Happy six years to my little cowboy Kallahan!

Wishing this silly, quick-witted, cat loving, six-year-old the happiest birthday!! We're so lucky to be your parents.  We had a great day celebrating you. We went in as a family and woke you up with a special "happy birthday serenade." You took chocolate cupcakes with red icing {your request} to school. After school, Keeler gave you a John Deere painting set and all the neighbor kids came down and helped you paint. You loved that!  While Keeler was at football practice I let you download a new calf roping game... Basically the best day ever ;) Kallahan Troy, you are one of my greatest blessings. Six years ago you made our family complete.

Keeler's First Day of 3rd Grade!

Today is Keeler's first day of third grade!

This year he is at a new school. Last night he was excited to meet his teacher, Mrs. Martinez. We've prayed all summer for the best teacher for him... he's going to have a great year!

Kallahan's First Day of Kindergarten

Today was a big day in the Baker house, Kallahan started kindergarten! This is his first year in public so he's in a new school.  Luckily, he was blessed with a wonderful teacher, he knows a few kids in this class and has been visiting this school for the past few years to pick up his big brother so he is ready! 

Last night went smoothly. We had read Kindergarten Here I Come and said prayers for a wonderful year. Question is: is this momma ready to send her baby off to kindergarten?!

He did great at drop off - all smiles and a quick goodbye. So proud of our big little guy. Go get ‘em kid! The world is waiting…

Jacey, the usherette

My niece, Jacey, is growing up to be such a beautiful young lady - inside and out. Today I came down to do her hair and makeup for 8th grade promotion. She was one of two 7th grade girls that was picked by the 8th grade class to be an usherette. 

Before we headed to promotion we snapped some photos of her.
