September Highlights

It's hard to believe another month has almost flown by.  Sharing some of our favorite highlights from the month today.
The boys are loving having baby Sutter at Granny's.
We treated Granny to lunch on Grandparent's Day after church and Sutter's dedication.
September is birthday central in our family! We were glad we got to attend's Phoenix' 2nd birthday at the pumpkin patch.
It was a great party! We got to go on a hay ride,
pick pumpkins, ride go-carts, go through a corn maze...
play with our cousins,
ride through a corn field,
and best of all, shoot an apple cannon. Tyler had more fun than anyone. Happy birthday Phoenix. Glad you liked you lawn mower ;)
Shalie taught the boys the ins and outs of snap-chat.
We got to babysit Ronda's cat. The boys named her Kitty Whiskers.
Grandma came to Kansas to help watch the boys.
 Keeler got his school pictures.
Plus got to take selfies with mom ;)
The little cowboys help Troy with some mowing.
We attended a local fundraiser with my sister and their friends. Oh, what a night! Jarret and I might not be allowed to drink together anymore - we get too goofy.

We also enjoyed Tim and Erica coming up to visit. The boys did some hunting...
and I introduced Erica to the BEST queso in the world. We've decided this is now a birthday celebration MUST-HAVE. Happy {belated} auntie Erica.
Hope your month was wonderful as well!

Kallahan is Five!

Happy Birthday Kallahan Troyl!  How is it even possible that 5 years has passed since I first held you in my arms?  How is even possible that 5 years have passed since you changed our world in ways that I never dreamed possible.  You made our family complete.
Watching you grow and thrive over the past 5 years has been nothing short of amazing.  You fill our hearts with such joy, just being you.  You'll stop at nothing for a laugh. You love to cook, ride your bike, snuggle and play with your "big brother!" You are one-of-a-kind! You are so sweet, so kind, so silly and of course so handsome. Yesterday at church you looked up and me and said, "I love your eyes, mom." #heartmelted
I LOVE everything about you little man. Never change.

Kallahan and Jakob's Birthday Party

This past weekend we had the best birthday party for Kallahan and Jakob!
We held the party at my sister's house. The boys liked the idea of a John Deere theme so we went with it. Anything for our farm boys!
Samantha and my mom had some great ideas. The party turned out adorable.
Everyone had a blast swimming...
busting the pinata...
and eating tons of great food and treats. Our boys are the cutest. Thank you Jakob for sharing your birthday party with my little guy. He looks up to you so much.
Thank you to everyone that came to the party. You spoiled our boys but made them feel so special.

My John Deere family :)
Obviously, this theme worked pretty well for me.
Kallahan LOVED the cake.
How is this handsome guy already 15?! We love you Jakob Henry.
Of course, Kallahan was ecstatic that his best Shalie was at the party.

Cheers to the best cousin combo party eeeeever!

Kallahan's First Day of Preschool 2016

Today is Kallahan's first day of preschool!
He's attending the same preschool he did last year but he will be in the 4 & 5 year-old program.  Luckily, he'll have the same teacher because we just love her.
First Day 2016
First Day 2015 - Our little boy is growing!
This year he could care less about taking pictures. He was just ready to get to school.
He will attend Monday-Wednesday 12-3:30pm.  I think this schedule will work nicely for us.  I plan to pick him up around 11 o'clock from his Granny's, we'll eat lunch together and then I'll drop him off at school
It's so hard to believe this is our last year of preschool. Both my little cowboys will be in big school next year.
Drop off went great today.  He ran right in and picked his spot at the blue table.  His friend, Liam, picked a spot right next to him so Kallahan was really happy.  He gave me a quick high-five and he was off to play. I'm so grateful that he was all smiles and so excited.
I hope he enjoys every second of his last year in preschool.
This past weekend we had the most fun celebrating Kallahan and Jakob's upcoming birthdays with the best John Deere party.  Post coming soon!
