Christmas Day

Christmas Day we spent the day at my parent's house.
The little cowboys had so much fun with their cousins
My sister said Jakob stayed up all night waiting to catch Santa... it's pretty obvious in this picture that this boy is worn out.  I love these kids!
My mom spoiled us yet again.  The room was full of presents!  Keeler seems to think Grandma Kak ranks right up there with Santa in regards to gift giving ;)
Kallahan loved the firehouse from his aunt Samanatha!
 I can't believe I'm posting this...
Tyler loved his "lazy suit" and Crown.  #perfectcombination
Samuel was eager to help everyone open their gifts. I think it was his way of nicely speeding everyone up.

Pa Diddy scored some new sweaters and had to do his famous "O" face!
Jacey got some of the coolest girl toys.  She's always the most fun person to shop for on my list.
Keeler's Christmas was complete when he found "real pliars" in his stocking.  Yes, this is something that he asked for at the last minute.  My dad and Tyler rushed out and made sure this was taken care of.  I don't think he's gone a day without them since he got them.
Jarret was looking studly in his new Texas A&M and John Deere garb.
My mom called our Christmas the year of the "As Seen On TV" gifts.  After our regular exchange and lunch we did a little white elephant exchange of different ASOTV gifts.  Keeler fought hard for the Baconwave!
In the evening all my in-laws and my sister's in-laws came over for pajama/game-night.

For fun I added a little video recap of our favorite Christmas moments.  Enjoy!
I hope everyone had a merry and blessed Christmas!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve we held up our tradition of going to candlelight service with my parents and then heading over to have Christmas with Tyler's family.
His parents always want group pictures before the festivities begin.  I was pleased that we were able to take the photos quickly and ended up some great images of our little families.

Mimi & Jimdad  hosted such a fun evening.
 Tim & Erica.
As Erica said in her blog post.  "2014 is their wedding year."  We are so excited!!  We have a beautiful wedding to look forward to and most importantly, we'll be gaining such a sweet sister-in-law.
 The Webb's
We had such a good day spending it with these guys.  Tiffany helped all the boys make Christmas cookies and then she and I had fun getting ready together for the evening.
 I have the best sister-in-laws!

Our boys all looked so cute in their matching shirts.  Thanks Mimi!
Look how much we've changed and grown in just a year!

Our boy group photo just keeps expanding... #loveit
Our girl group photo just stays the same.  Time for girl babies, Erica?!
We loved having Granny with us on Christmas Eve.  Some years she stays in Kansas so it was a nice treat.
Opening presents was a riot!  Jim working his camera deserves it's own post, ha!

Tim and Erica gave all the little boys AND their dads Nerf guns.  This was by far the most played with gift of the evening.
Thanks for another memorable and FUN Christmas Eve!!

Annual Baking Day

Our Christmas Eve Eve was spent baking.  This is an annual tradition for my mom, sister and our kiddos.  A few years back my niece and I pretended that we were running a candy store on this day and named it Sprinkles.  The tradition continues...
Jacey even made us signs for our store this year!
The kids had a great time making decorated sugar cookies.
Truth be told Grandma did most the baking and candy making...
and Samantha spent the day cleaning up after all us.
We ended up with so many yummy treats.
Cake Pops//Caramel Candies//Brownie Bites//Chocolate Covered Pretzels//Cookies
I wish we had days like this more often but I'd be as big as a house!

Our Family Christmas

When the little cowboys got home from Granny's on Friday evening we had our little family Christmas.  We had pizza delivered and had all the boy's gifts from us stacked up when they got home.
 Keeler was so excited!
Kallahan was so hungry, ha!  He had no interest in the presents and took forever eating his pizza.  The wait drove Keeler crazy.
All our gifts to them were pretty small.  Just some clothes, pajamas, and a few toys.  I always think they must think we give pretty lame gifts compared to Santa.  Now why must he get all the credit?!
Tyler was so sweet and had me go look in the playroom after the boys had opened their gifts.  He surprised me and bought a new tv console that we had talked about.  Our big armoire is now in our bedroom.  We both think it opens up our living space more.
After gifts, baths and getting in their new pajamas the little cowboys put out treats for Santa.
I shared on instragram (follow me @kelleysbaker) "We're out of cookies so hopefully Santa likes oatmeal pies, our milk may or may not have been expired and sorry reindeer the boys ate most your carrots."
In the morning I couldn't wait for the little cowboys to wake up.  If you know Keeler, you know he's our early-bird but of course he slept in until almost 8am!
It was the best morning!  Keeler got a "working chute" play set and a lot of John Deere farm equipment.  Kallahan got a Home Depot tool bench with a lot of tools.
I think this face says it all!
