Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween! Halloween Eve the boys wore their matching mummy pajamas and enjoyed waaaay too many sweets.
Keeler and Kallahan had spent the weekend in Texas with my parents and sister. They got to have a lot of Halloween fun! We picked them up Sunday afternoon.
Earlier in the evening we finally carved pumpkins. The boys had been asking for over a month!
Kallahan had his preschool Halloween party. He looked adorable!

Wonder why I experienced a little déjà vu while taking Kal's picture?

Kal had a blast at his party. His teacher sent me this adorable video of them playing musical chairs. Oh, that kid!
After school, we picked up our K-State football player and headed downtown to work the Trick-or-Treat Trail on main street.
The boys went around with Granny and Lori to get a little candy with cousins Haylee & Sutter.
What a handsome football player!
Kallahan spotted some friends...
Becca was the cutest little chicken.
The little cowboys enjoyed giving out candy as much as receiving. They were great helpers!
When we got back home, we ate a quick dinner and Kallahan opted for a costume change. He decided he wanted to be a rodeo clown for evening trick-or-treating. Why not?
Since I managed to get such cute pictures of Kal before his party, I tried to take a few of Keeler before we went out.
I can't believe how old he looks!

"Every Man a Wildcat." Sorry Texas Tech we've failed you.
Then is was time for trick-or-treating! First stop, Keeler's teacher house. We just love her. Keeler said she wanted all her students to come to her house so of course we did.
Then we went to Granny's house and around her neighborhood.
One of our last stops was to visit the Gross family. Of course we had to visit two of the cutest little girls in town.
We had the happiest of Halloweens! Hope you did too!! #trickortreat 🎃👻

JC Halloween

Happy Halloween! This weekend we had our annual Junior Civic couple costume party. It was a lot of fun and it's always great to see everyone's creative costume ideas.
We had a pinata and her hombre...

Mommy and Daddy Pig. I didn't get a good picture but they had Peppa Pig shirts on.
The Bank Robbers
Crown and Coke
Popeye and Olive
Peanut Butter and Strawberry Jelly
and kissing sailors...

Tyler and I went as Al and Peg Bundy from Married With Children. Tyler picked our costumes this year and I just went with it. I basically added a red wig to my Sandy costume.
Tyler picked up his outfit at the Goodwill.
The JC girls. Love them all!
I guess our costumes were a hit because I took best female, Tyler won best male and we won best couple. Wow, the Bundy's are winners!
We're looking forward to more Halloween festivities with the little cowboys tonight.

October Highlights

Well, so long October.... it's hard to believe another month has almost flown by.  Sharing some of our favorite highlights from the month today.
We've had the privilege of attending a few of Jakob's first varsity football games. How can this kid already be in high school?
It's so much fun to get together and watch him play.
He'll always be number one in our world!
Kitty Whiskers enjoyed her Halloween costume throughout the month.
Thanks again Aunt Ronda!
Kitty Whiskers went to Keeler's school for show-and-tell.
She did great!

She also got to go to Kallahan's school. She is the sweetest little thing and loves the attention.

Homecoming Week!
Keeler was a great sport this year and enjoyed dressing up for each homecoming theme day.
Wearing a fanny pack like a BOSS on Tacky Tourist Day.
Looking cool rocking those 80's vibes
Our studs on Favorite Sports Team Day #housedivided
Don't tell but Kallahan was my favorite that day.
And lastly here'e our Batman on favorite Super Hero day.
Somehow we managed to snag Yard of the Month! Crazy?! Guess were getting better at this home-ownership thing.

We enjoyed family bike rides,
walks to the ice-cream shop,
Levi's birthday party,

shopping with friends,

Facetiming family,

and this handsome cowboy played flag football.

Kallahan had a blast watching big brother and entertaining mommy.
These two are my world. Every month, every day, every minute.
Hope your month was wonderful as well.
