High Five, it's my Friday!

Happy April!   I'm doing a quick "High Five for Friday" post, on this Thursday, since it's really my Friday - woohoo!!  We ended March with a bang by flying out to Vegas and celebrating mine and my sweet mom's birthdays. 

1:: You know 31 is going to be AMAZING when you get to hang out with Michael Jackson on your birthday!  High Five, y'all {Trip Recap coming soon} 

 2::  This little cutie got several HIGH FIVES and hugs when we returned from our trip for learning how to ride a bike without training wheels.  We are so proud of you, Keeler!  

Thanks for the great lessons Jim-Dad.  Also, thanks go out to to Jim-Dad, Mimi and Granny for taking such great care of our little cowboys while we were away.  

3::  This week I picked up Jif® Whips Creamy Peanut Butter and I have to share because everyone needs to fall in love like we have.  I'm really the only peanut butter lover in our house but Tyler and Keeler have even fallen hard for this one.  It basically tastes just like peanut butter but the texture is so smooooooth!  We've been putting it on everything... apples, pretzels and Keeler even tried strawberries last night.  

 4::  High Five for this little booger.  Could he be any cuter?!  

This week we had him evaluated for speech services since he is a bit delayed on age-appropriate speech milestones.  The pathologist and teacher that came to our home were so sweet and Kal was a complete ham for them.  We decided to accept services which will basically give us more ideas on how to encourage his speech progression.  They said it's obvious that he's smart and is right on track in motor development and direction following.  They were also impressed that he's completely potty trained.  "If he doesn't speak much then how does he communicate that he needs to go to the bathroom?"  This boy has excelled in nonverbal communication from day one - #partofhisproblem

 5::  So why is today my Friday anyway?  We're traveling tonight and then spending the long weekend celebrating Tim and Erica.  It's a weekend full of showers and bachelor/bachelorette parties - HIGH FIVES all around for this sweet couple.  Tim and Erica also got to spend time with the little cowboys while we were away.  Keeler and Kal loved visiting their little pug, Sprinkles.  This was certainly one of their weekend highlights ;)  Erica posted this pic on instagram while we were in Vegas - I love it, thanks!
