Happy Birthday Samuel!

I was doing so good with my goals.  I was staying right on track with my half marathon training, eating better and staying under my calorie goal, blogging more regularly and keeping up with chores and then it happened...I got sick.  No I don't have the flu...thankfully.  {I feel so sorry for all those that do because it sounds terrible!!}  I have a sinus infection.  It's inevitable and seems to happen at least once a year but I hate it!  The past couple of mornings I have woke up feeling like my head is going to EXPLODE.  This morning when I woke up my teeth even hurt.  So I managed to make an appointment and get some antibiotics.
I decided to work from home this afternoon.  But as soon as I walked in the door, I crashed.  My doctor said I needed to rest but I didn't know how much I really NEEDED to.  Well I obviously did.  Hopefully I'm back 100% very soon because I have a busy schedule ahead full of meetings, local pageant festivities and of course I need to get back to running!
Now onto where I wanted to go with this post, Happy Birthday Sweet Samuel!!
My nephew turned 5 on Monday.
 Over the weekend we went to Texas to celebrate.
I can't believe that our little "butter-bean" is already 5.  He is such a silly little guy and always has a smile for us.  He is very independent and creative.  I love to watch him do any craft/art project because his concentration and abilities amaze me.
It's funny because we ended up with several little boys around the same age between mine and my sister's in-laws.  His party was so much fun with all these little boys running around.  They We have such fun times ahead! :)
The party was a dinosaur theme.  My sister and niece, Jacey, did a great job of decorating.  Look at the "dino punch" and "dino claws" - too much!!
{Bonus points for finding my dad in the pictures above - ha!}
  My sister and her husband are great party hosts.  Their new home is perfect for entertaining too.  I am so happy for them!  Aside from how he looks in this picture, Jarret really does like to PARTY!!
